Intuition helps us a lot on our daily lives. It helps us distinguish what is better or worse for us. And true intuition is far from bias. We notice a bunch of things and unconsciously, so intuition is that sense of knowing or perceiving something without actually understanding why you know it. The idea of intuition is becoming more and more discussed in the workplace, in business management and decision making. We are much more than just our 5 limited senses. We are wired into interconnectivity that human life is far too basic to comprehend, despite its magical complexity. Somehow intuition can be defined as our inner knowing. We all can learn how to increase our intuition, or to be more connected to our inner knowing, in our personal lives and in business. A lot of people can learn how to psychically interpret results from many tools, such as tarot cards, runes and others, but intuition is something extra that can help those psychics. People can also learn how to be good at corporate business, and intuition is again that extra layer that can help a business to grow and be more successful if only in tune with it. So using intuition in the workplace can be very powerful, as it gives you the feeling that you can make powerful decisions that support the best interests. Why use intuition in business? It’s a great tool to identify a problem rather than ignoring that something’s off. It also helps you to take decisions that feel right, rather than the standard “looks good” decision making. It also helps you to recognise opportunities which allow you to develop business, rather than getting stuck into thinking that they might not be right. If you want more fast decision making, then listen to your intuition to support you. How to develop and use intuition in business? A good way to start practicing and developing your intuitive is to go with your first hunch. Trust and listen to this inner voice of yours. The more you do it, the more your system will be wired, signaling your nervous system and therefore your cognitive intuitive language. When you need to make a choice, tune into your body. Imagine taking a choice and just observe what your body feels. Then, chose another option and allow your body to feel. Also, ask yourself: which option feels better in the body? Which option is more relaxed or tense? Use your body’s visceral reactions for decision making! Let go of any pressure of the need to be right and release the need to control. This means that you should work on knowing yourself, which is the most powerful tool for anything in life. At work, it becomes significantly important, as you need to know what you stand for. Have you ever asked what are your values, believes and deal-breakers? Remember... Using intuition in the workplace helps to have clarity and power, making it a great tool in the business tool belt. Start by using it in your life too. Once you truly do that, you’ll see that you’ll automatically start doing it for business as well.
